We’re thrilled to announce that Cavan FC Sports Camp is back for its fourth summer — and it’s going to be bigger and better than ever! Our camp has sold out every year, so be sure to register early to avoid disappointment. We can’t wait to welcome back returning campers and meet new faces for an incredible summer of sports, teamwork, and fun!
What’s New This Year?
- Extended Age Group – By popular demand, we’ve expanded our age range to include students graduating Grade 7
- Extra Week Added – We’ve added an additional 4-day week at the beginning of August — more fun, more action! Price is less for the four day week.
- New Gaga Ball Pit – A fun addition that campers are going to love!
A Typical Day at Camp
Our camp focuses on soccer, but we believe in developing well-rounded athletes and building strong teamwork skills. Each day includes:
Morning: Soccer skills training with experienced coaches
Afternoon: Soccer games and friendly competition
Other Sports & Games:
- Dodgeball
- Team-building games
- Hockey
- Amazing Race
- Minute to Win It challenges
- Basketball
- Water Day (cool off and have fun!)
- Backpocket games – endless fun!
We make sure to group campers by age to create the best experience possible. No matter the weather — rain, shine, or heat — we have access to top-notch indoor and outdoor facilities at Crestwood High School to keep the fun going!
Incredible Staff
We have an amazing team of enthusiastic and experienced ounsellors, most of whom are returning from previous years. They have strong soccer backgrounds, experience and specialties in various sports, and bring a ton of energy and excitement to camp. Many of our staff are now in university or college. They all know how to connect with kids and keep the fun going all day long.
We also have an adult site supervisor onsite to ensure everything runs smoothly and that your children are always safe and supported.

All proceeds from the camp go directly back into supporting community initiatives — so by signing up, you’re helping make a difference!

Camp Hours:
- 8:30 to 9:00 drop off
- 9:00 to 4:00 programming
- 4:00 to 4:15 pick up
Dates:
The camp will run for 6 weeks this summer. You can sign up for one week or all six.
- July 7 to 11
- July 14 to 18
- July 21 to 25
- July 28 to August 1
- August 5 – 8 (4 day week, no camp Aug. 4 Civic Holiday)
- August 11 to 15
Ages: 6 to 12 year olds (birth years 2012-2019) – Now open to students graduating Grade 7
Cost: $205 per week ($180 for 4-day week)
Players will receive a camp t-shirt
What you need: sunscreen, hat, water bottle, running shoes, cleats (not required), lunch, morning snack, and afternoon snack.
Camp FAQ
1. Does the camp only focus on soccer?
No, although the focus will be soccer we recognize the importance of providing children the opportunity to explore and learn all fundamental movement skills by playing small-sided games because games teach and are motivational. Campers will play small sided games to expand their soccer skills for about half the day. The remainder of the time will be filled with activities to grow their catching, striking, wheeling, and jumping, like bench ball, baseball, basketball, strikeball, cricket, capture the flag, various relays, ultimate, and other Low Organized Games (LOG’s).
2. Is the camp outdoors all day?
Yes a large chunk of our days will be outdoors on the soccer fields, so come prepared. However, we do have use of the school gymnasiums, cafeteria and classrooms. This is great when we want to focus on indoor activities, in case of rain, or during extreme heat.
3. Will the camp be the same each week?
The general program will be similar each week. Some activities, other than soccer, may change slightly. Our counselors will target soccer activities to the level of the campers.

4. The camp is various ages, will they be together all day?
Some activities may be done as a whole group, however, for most of the day campers will be divided into 6 to 8 year olds and 9 to 13 year olds. However, if the number permits there may be an opportunity for 1 or 2 age range cohort groupings.
Need a Refund?
We understand things happen. Before June 15 for July camps and before July 15 for August Camps, there is a $35.00 admin fee when refunding campers. After these deadlines a charge of 40% of the fee will apply.
Any request with medical documentation will only be charged the admin fee.
