Indoor Soccer Program Update – New Locations
Thank you everyone for your continued patience and understanding over the past couple of weeks as our team of volunteers have been scrambling to relocate some of our indoor House League divisions after the announcement of the closure of the old Millbrook Arena.
We are happy to say the hard work has paid off and the much anticipated season, for most divisions, will begin shortly.
Please see the information below on the new locations as well as the updated schedules.
Indoor League Details
- 18 weeks
- Millbook South Cavan School (U8 teams) | Rolling Hills Public School (U10 and up)
- For youth players (2012-2020), teens (2009-2011), adults (2005+) and senior (1985+)
- Saturday November 2, 2024 – Thursday March 27, 2025 (No games December 20, 2024 to January 5, 2025 and February 2, 2025
- U6 is a mixed girls/boys division
- U8 – U13 are girls only and boys only teams/divisions ( see Division details below )
- Mixed Teens are girls and boys combined teams with equal # of girls/boys per team
- Mixed Adults and Mixed Seniors are women & men combined teams with equal # of women/men per team
- U6 – U8 are 40 minute games (2×20 min.) | All other divisions are 50 minute games (2×25 min.)
- U6 – 5v5
- U8 – 5v5
- U10 – 7v7
- U13 – 7v7
- Mixed Teens – 7v7
- Mixed Adults – 7v7
- Mixed Senior – 7v7 (pick up style)
- Cost per player – U6-U8 $195 | U10 – Teens $220 | Adult $250 | Senior $195 (fee includes indoor soccer jersey)
- All games (with exception of Senior 40+ division) officiated by an Ontario Soccer certified Match Official
- MLCFC reserves the right to combine age groups and genders based on registration numbers
- MLCFC reserves the right to move players up to week #3 to balance teams if necessary

Need a Refund?
No problem. We understand, things happen. After October 1, but before the season begins, there is a $35.00 admin fee when refunding players. As the season starts, if you need a refund we will calculate a pro-rated amount based on the date and number of games left less the jersey and the Ontario Soccer Registration cost and the admin fee of $35.00.

Game Location: Millbook South Cavan School ( 47 Tupper Street in Millbrook )
Start Date: Saturday November 2nd
- U8 BOYS teams game times 9:00 am or 10:00 am (see schedule below)
- U8 GIRLS teams game time always 11 am
Game Location: Rolling Hills Public School ( 694 Hwy 7A in Bethany)
Start Dates & Game Times:
- U10 Boys- Thursday November 7th | 6 pm or 7 pm (see schedule below)
- U10 Girls – Tuesday November 5th | 6 pm or 7 pm (see schedule below)
- U13 Boys – Monday November 4th | 6 pm or 7 pm (see schedule below)
- U13 Girls – Wednesday November 6th | 6 pm, 7 pm or 8 pm (see schedule below)
Important Location Information
Since we are now playing on a gym floor and not a turf surface, here are a few things to know:
- Only NON MARKING court shoes or NON MARKING running shoes are to be worn in the gym.
- NO OUTSIDE shoes or boots are allowed in the gym area.
- SPECTATORS as well as Players must remove outer shoes before entering the gym
- The Board’s “No Smoking on Board Property” policy applies 24 hours per day.
- Rental applicants must ensure that patrons move off Board property for smoking purposes, not just outside the building.
- No Pets are allowed inside the school.
Rowan’s Law
On July 1, 2019, new rules came into effect in Ontario through Rowan’s Law to improve concussion safety in amateur competitive sport. Maple Leaf Cavan FC is advising its athletes under 26 years of age, parents of athletes under 18, coaches, team trainers and officials that they must comply with Rowan’s Law and are required to, as a precondition to participation:
- Review any one of Ontario’s official Concussion Awareness Resources before registering a player, participating or serving with MLCFC; and
- review MLCFC’s Concussion Code of Conduct for athletes and parents/guardians
PLEASE NOTE: In order for your registration to be accepted the above steps must be taken. You will be prompted on the registration form to confirm you have done so.
